Dance of the Hunter's Fire demonstrates the basic African polyrhythm, four beats against six beats. It is an interesting comparison of two rhythmic traditions, the African and the South Indian. What you hear is Baba's interpretation of the six beat rhythm against a four beat carpet, while Vikku improvises on the Ghatam.
