The episode of Deadcast "From the Mars Hotel 50: Unbroken Chain" contained a fascinating account of how the title "From The Mars Hotel" came about, as well as the the "Ugly Rumours" mirror writing on the cover.

Remastered and reissued in 2004 with some bonus tracks as part of the box set Beyond Description (1973-1990). The bonus tracks are:
