Grateful Dead songbooks

• the "Guitar Superstar Series" compilation may not be in print. I have included it in this listing because several songs in it have not been published elsewhere (eg Rosemary and Weather Report Suite Prelude)
• there are a number of other compilations that I have not listed (eg "Grateful Dead Anthology For Intermediate Guitar" or "The Best Of The Grateful Dead For Guitar"). These do not contain any additional songs, and have very much simplified arrangements.
• "Grateful Dead Volume I" contains the songs from "Workingman's Dead" and "American Beauty", and "Grateful Dead Volume II" contains the songs from "Wake Of The Flood", "From The Mars Hotel" and "Blues For Allah"
• "Very Best Of The Grateful Dead" is published in two editions: one with guitar TAB and one with piano transcriptions
• "The Music of the Grateful Dead arranged for fingerstyle guitar" has, as it's name suggests, arrangements for fingerstyle guitar rather than transcriptions of the Grateful Dead versions.
• The "Jerry Garcia Songbook" focusses on his solo repertoire. I've included in the table the songs included in other songbooks. But it also includes some Garcia/Hunter originals played a few times by the Grateful Dead (e.g. 'Rueben And Cerise') and some covers played occasionally by the Grateful Dead (e.g. 'Sing Me Back Home' and 'Oh Babe It Ain't No Lie') as well as some of the Dylan songs played by both the Grateful Dead and the Jerry Garcia Band. Rather arbitrarily I have included in the table only songs played 3 or more times by the Dead.
